  I tried the Headache Clinic years ago - they wanted to do my teeth and check every other part of my body which meant great expense so I never went back. I eventually went to Dr Shamley at Wilgeheuwel. My migraines are linked to food intolerance, preservatives and histamine intolerance, so food is possibly the cause.

  Good morning all. My husband suffers from chronic migraines and is wanting to try acupuncture (pretty much the only thing he hasn't tried). Can anyone recommend a good acupuncturist in the area, one that perhaps has had success with migraine sufferers? Thank you and keep cool this week :-)

  Has he tried The Headache Clinic? They have consistent excellent results. The main clinic is in Jbg, but I believe they have a Cape Town branch also. About six years ago, after a life time of migraines (from around age 6 and becoming worse after age 50) - I went to the clinic in Jbg. I have not had another migraine.   Hi, I also suffer from terrible headaches and migraines. I have been to the headache clinic in cape town and now have found a wonderful acupuncturist in town. Headaches are much better. It is a process though and you have to find out what triggers it and what helps for you as everyone always has an opinion.
