Jim McEwen was born and raised in Shady Grove (Williamsport), Tennessee. His farm has been in the family for five generations. He has an immense love for the land and has passed that on to his sons, Dan and John. Jim has been in real estate for over 30 years and most of that time has been marketing and selling land and farms. He has many interests including horses, the Tennessee Land Trust, and spending time with his family.
Jim and Dan McEwen formed The McEwen Group after Dan graduated from Maryville College with a degree in business. It was a natural decision to go into real estate – specializing in land. Dan’s knowledge and love of the land comes naturally having been raised to respect the land and appreciate it’s resources. Dan’s interests include hunting, fishing, and sports of just about any kind.
John McEwen came on board in December 2010. John is a business major, and has an excellent knowledge of Internet marketing, the photographing of property, and a keen eye for value and pricing.

Anyone suggest a real estate person in Maury County?
Richard H. replied:
Dan McEwen specializes in that. I just used him to sell a farm myself out on Canterbury Drive. I totally vouch for him. His work number is 931-626-0241. Sorry it took me three days to respond...whole family had been hit by that stomach bug. Hope this info helps...let me know if I can help. My cell is 615-210-8024. (I am a doc, not a realtor, so not trying to drum up business : ) ).
