  Thanks Amanda Robinson Damaschun. I am a nail tech at Hair, Nails and Toes salon. You actually might be allergic to the primer that is used, that is usually the cause for allergic reactions with acrylic nails. As for the dip system, it is still acrylic. If a place is telling you otherwise, they are just trying to upsell you. A different type of adhesion is used. I also offer a hard gel system. It is as stronger than gel polish and can last up to 3 weeks. If you have any more questions please feel free to message me or contact me 615- 335- 0384.
