Jo will take excellent professional care of your pets. You can relax while you're away knowing that your furry, scaled and feathered family members are in safe hands.
Jo has felt a lifelong strong affinity with animals. Her love started with childhood pet dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs and many hours watching wildlife from a very young age. At university Jo volunteered at Bristol Zoo where she trained in animal husbandry and handling of reptiles, invertebrates and small mammals. Jo gave animal encounter talks and the otter feeding talk. After volunteering with the Atlantic Whale Foundation researching pilot whales and bottlenose dolphins whilst working as a guide on the whale watching boats of Tenerife, she went on to do a MSc in Marine Mammal Science specialising in bioacoustics.
Jo has worked with horses too, volunteering at Oak Tree riding stables and for Riding For The Disabled, assisting children with Autism to learn to ride. Jo is also a Shamanic Practitioner and has undertaken specialist training in Animal Reiki and Animal Communication. She is developing the application of Shamanic Sound Healing techniques in working with equines. Details of her shamanic practice can be found at www.thecroakingshaman.com
Sorry to ask but I'm not sure how to search through previous posts - someone recently recommended a lady (maybe a veterinary nurse?) who does home visits to feed cats. Just wondering if anyone could send me her contact details please?
