Ok my Baroque flute/historical flute friends: One of my sophomore flute students (Mary) is interested in studying Baroque flute.
1. What makers/brands do you recommend for someone just starting out, that offer decent instruments (but not too expensive)?
2. If there's a choice of materials, what wood do you prefer?
3. What Baroque flute events/camps/festivals/masterclasses are out there in which she could participate?
Thanks for your input!
