  Does anyone have a tankless water heater system? What are your opinions of it? We moved into our house a couple months ago and have horrible sulfur water. We've put in a culligan water system and replaced our anode rod in our water heater - neither have fixed the egg smell. I called a plumber and Locke Supply, both saying we need to replace the water heater. I'm wondering if a tankless system will help eliminate our problem rather than replacing a water heater every few years (the one in place is 4 years old). Thanks for any help!

  Our sink and bath drains smell like rotten eggs, not a sewagey smell. It's also in the laundry and dish washing machine hook ups. We've called a plumber that did little more than shrug and reccomend a bleach and boiling water regimen. $50 for that bit of bandaid advice. I repeat the bleach and boiling water cycle roughly every other month and the stench returns. I feel like I may be missing something and my google-fu has been exhausted. Is anyone else experiencing this or have a resolution?

I personally don't know any plumber who will replace the anode or even have one. So... Best of luck with all the crazy cures and bad advise I've seen posted
