  Need opinion about water pressure in coppell? Does anyone nees to put the water pressure reducer? The plumbing suggested to put since the pressure is too high 100 that might be a cause of my water pipe burst. But the thing is that tools to reduce the pressure contains a bad chemical on it.   The issue here is high water pressure, not brass. A PRV is necessary to prevent serious issues from occurring (i.e. bursting water heaters, supply pipes/pipe joints splitting/bursting inside walls or slab, etc.). We went through 4 water heaters before we found out our entire neighborhood has 110 psi. The Lakes of Coppell HOA has also brought up the issue over the last few years with all homeowners. Now that we have the PRV installed, all is fine. It doesn't affect water flow, only water pressure. Also, what "bad chemicals" are you referring to Marina? It is a mechanical valve.
