About us
From a very young age I can recall my father capturing macro shots of dragonflys and this fascinated me. Throughout my life I have enjoyed taking photos but with my constant drive and ambition I continued to experiment with different angles and taking photos of what some would consider "random" subjects.
As I got older I became drawn to art. I engaged a large proportion of my time travelling and teaching Martial arts. I feel this experience has taught me many skills which I translate into my photography. I am punctillious in my approach at capturing photos to ensure they exceed my personal expectations.
Whilst investing in an SLR camera many years ago and photographing subjects for many hours, it wasnt until I met my partner Bonnie, that I decided to take the step and move from a hobby to a profession. I feel incredibly fortunate that I can share my passion in life with Bonnie as we equally thrive on photography. In fact I have found we make a great team and often work on projects together. Bride and Grooms often comment how well we compliment each other when capturing their special day and how nice it is to have a male and female photographer for their wedding.
We have two children Mason and Elliott and we find when we are not working generally we are out in nature photographing.
I personally dont feel I have a particular area of photgraphy I thrive on most. I just love to exceed the expectations of my customers and see their expression when they first see a memory I have captured for them. My experience includes a variation of photography from Modelling to Newborns, Pets, Couples, Families and Weddings. Weddings are always a delight for me as I get to capture the love and happiness and be part of a special moment in time.
As a lover of photography I believe that everyone should enjoy their photos with no ongoing financial tie which is why I always give the opportunity to have my work with copyright release.
