  Woke up with half my face looking like a melon. Can anyone recommend a dentist open on Sundays? So my face is rejecting itself. Last night it felt like i had something stuck in between my molars and brushed, picked, and used mouthwash. I noticed the gums around the molars in question were a little swollen and chucked it up to my vigorous use of a dental pick. Well, I woke up at about 4:30 am in a great amount of pain, I can't bite down, can barely open my mouth, and my left cheek is puffed so far out I can see it looking down. I called a few placed that yelp said was open today but I have yet to get a hold of a real person. I am in so much pain and feel the need to see someone asap. Can anyone recommend someone to see on a sunday? While I am working, I just started my job about 3 months ago and don't have insurance yet. So if you also know of someone who is priced well or offers great payment plans, I would like to hear about your experience as well. Thanks Chicago.

The dentists will come in early to see you if need be, everyone is very friendly and helpful. I agree about the antibiotics, you want to get some now. A home remedy that has worked for my friend in the past when he had an abscess was tea bags. Get a tea bag and keep it between your cheek and gums in the affected area. It soaks up some of the pus and reduces swelling. No idea how it works, but it does. Good luck to you, I know you're wishing for death at this point probably.
