Austin friends: this is a sad post but I need some advice.
My elderly cat companion, Strider, is nearly 18 and approaching the end of his days. Things have shifted for him the past couple of weeks and he is not feeling well. The past two days he has been very low energy and quiet, so his transition may happen naturally - but he may also just be real sleepy.
Either way, though, he's been increasingly troubled by his arthritis in his hips, and his old worn teeth (he is too elderly to go under anesthesia to get them pulled).
Without continuing to go on and on about this, I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a local veterinarian who performs at-home pet euthanasia.
