Looking for a good tailor in the Ukrainian Village/Noble Square/Wicker Park area I have been looking forever for a good tailor in my neighborhood that isn't super expensive. I'm talking more than just getting my pants hemmed. I need some work done to my suit jackets and dress shirts. The places I've tried thus far are dry cleaners that offer tailoring. I've had nothing but bad luck. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I don't think there is a good one in those areas, just the cheap places that are all the same. If I need a suit, dress suit, etc... tailored I head to Tails in Old Town. It's not super close to my house, but it's not something I need done everyday. The guy is amazing. http://www.yelp.com/biz/tails-chicago
Looking for Tailor Hello /r/chicago,
I am looking for a new tailor for a suit and few shirts that I got recently and need to get them done before a wedding I am going to later this month--aside from a quick hem/knowing the lady I take my dry cleaning to, I don't have any connections in the city. I live in Lakeview wanted to ask you all about your experiences. I am hoping that others can learn about some gems, as well.
Thank you!

I've always had a great experience with Joe at [Tails](http://www.yelp.com/biz/tails-chicago). A bit more pricey than others, but he does great work.
Does anyone know a good tailor in the Chicagoland area?

Kasey uses this place for all her alterations and really likes it. Not sure if they'll be willing to do things for you, but it's a small mom & pop shop, so they might be open to the idea. http://m.yelp.com/biz/tails-chicago
