Can you recommend a tailor in Manhattan? I tried the search, but i'm looking for some updated information.
I have an off the rack suit from Jos A. Bank that I need tailored. I know there are better/other options, but i already bought this one.
I'm looking for a quality tailor. Doesn't need to be cheap, but i'm not looking to go broke. I just want my suit to look the best it possibly can on me.
Ideally I can bring it in tomorrow August 18 and have it by the 31st or Sept 1.
Preferably somewhere on the west side but i'm open to travel wherever necessary.
Might also need some jeans tapered and shirts tailored as well.

Definitely. Nelson tailor shop on rivington a couple blocks east of the Essex market, north side of the street. Great guy, outstanding prices, worth the trip downtown. Was introduced to him by someone who wears very expensive suits and would trust Nelson and his opinion on anything clothes related. In addition to my suits he also did a great job on hemming jeans with the original seam for, iirc fifteen bucks.
Edit :I actually replied before reading your full post. Yes, he'd be fine for all you need. When I needed a few suits Heavily tailored to start a job after some weight loss some time ago, after being a stay at home dad for a couple years, he went through all the suits with me, and really got into helping me decide which suits to do first, how many to do total, he set up a time line due his fast be could get them ready, he cut a deal for doing multiple suits, etc. He got into helping out almost like a coach as much as a tailor. A clothes coach. You'll love him.
