I've recently became vegetarian - 1 month now. Any good recommendations for eating out as a veggie in DTLA? Thanks!

Just went to Border Grill Downtown Los Angeles yesterday and they're very vegetarian friendly - they even participate in "Meatless Mondays"! Their spinach empanadas and plaintain empanadas are delicious! ..but it's not just the menu - spoke with one of the managers and they're well aware of sustainability, have a program "Good for the Planet, Good for You", etc. If you haven't checked them out yet, I highly recommend it and I'm sure to go back! http://www.bordergrill.com/bg_dtla/bg_dtlamen.htm

Oh, I love Border Grill's veggie options! You're lucky that many of the restaurants offer great vegetarian options. Orochon is another great ramen spot that offers a vegetarian broth option. One place I was surprised with was Panini Cafe, across from Ralph's: their vegetarian stuffed pepers were quite delicious (and enough to take home for lunch the following day).
