Got a heady topper clone gonna brew Saturday morning. OG 1.060. I have a few yeast starter questions.
1. The yeast came in a vial, if I am doing a 2L starter should I let the vial come up to room temp before pitching to starter?
2. Is a 2L starter overkill for OG @ 1.060?
3. I plan on doing starter tonight, 2 days in stir plate, and 2 days in fridge. Decanting on saturday morning. Does anyone have a recommendation of not dropping my stir bar into the wort when I pitch?
