  I'm hoping someone in Salem with a grinder pump septic system (not sure if that is the proper name?) can help. We have a backage into our basement and called a drain specialist plumber to deal with it tomorrow. Then we looked online and saw that we are supposed to call the township. Do they fix it (and do we pay- if so is it cheaper to get a plumber instead)? Anyone have experience with the grinder pump system backing up?
