  I did the same thing, I rang the income office on 0114 222 4868 and they changed it for me :)

  I switched from Santander to Natwest and had to change my direct debit details (for accommodation payments etc.) and just rang 0114 222 4868. They take down your new Santander details and changed mine straight away. Even if you're not sure about how quickly they can change it, it's definitely worth ringing them.
