  Another alternative (www.ankerstudentbolig.no) is also difficult to move in. Try www.hybel.no .. before you rent room, visit the room and talk to the landlords and whilst, temporarily you can live in hostels.

  Hello Oslo, I'm a PhD candidate at UiO, and am looking for a new place to live! My current contract expires at the end of September, but ideally I would like to secure new accommodation sooner. I’m looking for a 1 to 2 room flat in the ~ 50 KVM range, preferably with a yard or near a park. I would like it to be reasonably quiet and in a good neighborhood close to Oslo city center, like Bislett, St. Hanshaugen or Blindern. If you know of anyone else looking maybe we could find something bigger and better. Please let me know if you have any suggestions!
