  Take the Blackball ferry over to Victoria (walk on) and spend the day at the Royal BC Museum, sign up for a docent tour while there for after lunch. Have lunch at the BC legislative dining room across the street, then return for your docent tour, followed by an Imax film at the museum.   I have discovered a whole branch of my family tree who were one by one emigrated to Canada in the 1880s. I can't find any records of what happened to them once they arrived. Can anyone advise me on how to move forward? I am looking for information about Job Chesterman (b1866 in London, emigrated June 1882) in the first instance although there are others too. Their mother was still alive at this point but she seemed to have lost her children into various children's homes. The boys seem to have been emigrated but not the girls although they too vanish from all records in the UK. I can't find them via ancestry either so I am looking for some pointers! Does anyone know any similar web sites for any of the other Canadian Provinces for those searching for family members who have left Nova Scotia for other parts of the Country?
