  Following on from another post about the ideal island for a couple of months in the summer, can anyone recommend someone to base ourselves down on the Peloponnisos for 2 weeks in late July, just me and two little children (age 8 and 6)? I speak Greek so we can handle someone slightly off the tourist-track. We need a safe, shallow beach and a few cafes/tavernas. I have been recommended Finikounta and Kardamyli but don't know either place and am not sure how full of tourists those two places are. We won't have transport either.
