  Trying yet again. Just about every contractor I contacted either can't do the work, doesn't get back to me, or schedules an appointment and doesn't turn up. The ones that do come up with a quote that's twice what my insurance company advised me the job would cost. We need two parts of our roof replaced and a mud room/powder room taken to the studs and drywall/flooring replaced. Would love to hear your recommendations. I'm really leaning toward an established company rather than someone's husband who just started a business......normally, we love those folks but I've been trying to get this job done since last February!
