Looking for affordable tree removal So I've got a medium-sized tree that is probably one good wind storm away from going through the roof of my neighbor's garage. I'm trying to track down someone who can cut it down, haul it off, and possibly grind down a separate stump without costing me an arm and a leg. Does anybody have any recommendations?

The best deal is the H.O.W. Foundation http://www.howfoundationsa.org/ Inexpensive, professional, and 50% of the cost is a tax deduction because they are a nonprofit. I've used them half a dozen times and have always been happy with their service. They are very popular, so let them know it is a crisis situation and they should bump up your priority.
Hey ATX friends! I need a good arborist. I have some huge trees that need some love at the new house. Must be affordable. Looking at They Might Be Monkeys since they support NPR.
Suggestions?
