[help] Any shops in London, UK? Hey /r/mechanicalkeyboards,
I've recently stumbled across your sub-reddit, and it's made me really want to purchase my first mechanical keyboard.
I want to try out the different switches before I buy; however, it's pretty expensive to buy a test kit in the UK (~£20 from what I've seen). My overall budget is about £75, so it seems pretty steep to pay so much for a test kit.
Therefore, I was wondering whether anyone can recommend a shop where I can try out the different switches? I have been into Currys flagship store and they don't have any boards on display to try out - also, I'm not sure the staff in such a generic electronics store will be able to help me too much with this specific request!
Thanks in advance!

I don't know of any shops in london. Maybe you can try out some game shops, but most only carry "gaming" boards with the companies own switches. As already mentioned it's important that you find out which switch you want before you buy, testers in the UK aren't inexpensive but it'll be worth buying one in the long run. When you're looking into buying a board there are a few good UK based websites including [kustompcs](https://www.kustompcs.co.uk/) and [overclockers](https://www.overclockers.co.uk/). You could also try /r/mechmarket which is always rich with boards.
