I had to submit my actual bill to my insurance company. The insurance company had only paid me part of their estimate minus the deductible. The insurance company then adjusted their estimate to actual bill. So even though the actual bill was less than the estimate, I still had to pay the deductible. Of course, if you get the roofer to give you a phony bill, you could scam the insurance company. :-) The roofer I used was Kevin's Glass & Roofing, 512-671-8740, kevgreeves@..., Round Rock, TX.
