I will be taking a trip to New York City in June. Does anyone have advice for the best vegan restaurants in the New York City Area?

you should eat almost every meal at Champs Diner (best chikn and waffles and french toast i've ever had), get pizza/garlic knots at vinnie's on bedford and north 8 th in williamsburg (highly recommend the hot sauce macaroni slize and the vegan ham wheel, they also have vegan treats deserts), great tempeh tacos at hotel tortuga which isn't far from the strand bookstore, i've never made the time but john's of 12 th is supposedly unreal vegan italian, http://www.johnsof12 thstreet.com/pages/Vegan.html, if you want to get fancy candle 79 is delicious and up by the museums (met, moma etc), blossom has a few locations and is good, mamoun's falafel is the best and will be made in about 30 seconds for you, they're down in the village, if you need more suggestions just ask!
