  Dr Haber is my general practioner, and he's located in the West Village, on Christopher Street. He has incredibly soothing bedside manner, does smooth and painless bloodwork, *actually cares* about his patients, AND they play showtunes in the waiting room. The entire staff, including the receptionist and the nurse are so, so sweet and genuine. There is also minimal wait for an appointment, as they are careful about booking, and legitimately understand how valuable your time is. Edited to add: They also call to tell you your test results as soon as they receive that information. I can't recommend him strongly enough. http://www.yelp.com/biz/haber-stuart-md-new-york
