Looking for a good, reasonably priced piano teacher for my kids.
Does anyone have any names for me to look into?

Thanks for the recommendations! At Keys to Happiness, I teach the Simply Music method. It has only been around for 20 years or so, and it's very different from traditional lessons. Happy to talk on the phone about it - 260-255-4521, or via email - keys2 happiness@gmail.com. To find out if this method is right for your family, we also offer a free Student Information Session, where you'll learn more about Simply Music, hear some of the great sounding music that beginning students will play, and have a chance to ask questions. There's no obligation to start lessons if you come to the SIS. They're typically scheduled for weekend afternoons. We're located near Lakeside Park, which may or may not be east enough for you. ;-) We also have two cats, which has been a problem for a few people.
Does anyone know of someone local who teaches piano, my son is turning 5 and wants to start lessons. Thanks

Rachel - yes, there is still space this Saturday at 2 pm. Email me at keys2 happiness@gmail.com and I'll send my address.

Simply music has three important differences from traditional lessons (which is what most people think of when they think of piano lessons). 1. We don't start teaching how to read music until about a year into lessons. 2. Parents are required to attend lessons with their kids. 3. We'll make every effort to teach lessons in groups, which provides a superior lesson experience. Our lessons are $88/month, and materials are $50 about every four months, with incidental materials that are much less expensive. We offer discounts for families with more than one student in lessons, and we also have a referral program. If you're interested in more information, give us a call at 260-255-4521 to schedule a free Student Information Session, where you'll hear some of the great music beginning students learn, find out more about how the method works, and have a chance to ask questions. (We have one scheduled for 2 pm this coming Saturday - do give us a call so that we don't overbook it!) Also, we do have cats, in case allergies are a problem.
