  When l left school my first job was working in Tolly Cobbold Brewery Spirit store in Auckland Road, opposite the road was a furniture warehouse who l believe belonged to Finbows Removals. Before this l believe this building was a theatre up to the early fifties when l think there was a fire that destroyed much of the theatre Does anyone know of anyone who can put some light on this and also the name of the theatre ?. Next door was the Cambridge City Council Social club later to become the Far East Prisoners of war association club.

  The Cambridge Buddhist centre is housed in the old theatre.
