Does anyone have any photos of downtown area before the water gardens were built. I'm looking for a picture of my great grandfather's furniture store that was there

Also, go to the Jack White Collection of Historic Fort Worth Photographs and go to Downtown Renewal. Then scroll down to the section "Buildings Demolished for Convention Center". The photos will give you a good sample of what was in the area. Here's the link: http://www.fortwortharchitecture.com/oldftw/oldftw.htm#rebuild

Do any of my conservative, politically-savvy friends have any recommendations for a conservative voter's guide for the ballot today? November 5th snuck up on me...
Nate D. replied:
You can go to tarrantcounty.com to view what your particular ballot will look like (they vary depending on where you live in Fort Worth), but the big one I think is voting no on the first 3 propositions, which levy half a billion in new taxes for the Fort Worth ISD.
