What makes it hard is the noise thing, most restaurants in London are loud, mainly because of the decor (no soft furnishings to soak up the sound). The younger ones (brother, his gf, me, my bf) are happy with modern places (think Bubble Dog, Wahaca etc) but they're not really suitable for my Dad and his gf. HELP!

Looking for recommendations around South Ken or Victoria for somewhere we can have a leisurely late afternoon lunch - restaurant or pub (if we have the predicted heatwave may be nice to sit outdoors).
