  Somewhere between a luxury hostel and a lowpriced hotel: [Ibis Budget](http://www.ibis.com/de/hotel-8027-ibis-budget-aachen-city/index.shtml) ~ 40EUR (+/- depending on season) per night and person, single room. Functional. Not for tourists and/or longer stays, but perfectly fine for a few nights. Roughly the same price range, but closer to the train stations: [A&O Hostel](https://www.aohostels.com/en/aachen/) or [Hostel Aachen](http://www.hostel-aachen.de/index_en.html)

  Hi All I have got admission to RWTH Aachen University for Masters program and will be there in Aachen by 15th midnight. Can anyone please suggest a good place to stay atleast temporarily till I get an accommodation. Any cheap youth hostels or hotels available? or can I approach the International office for help? please suggest

  http://www.hostel-aachen.de/de/preise/index.htm I've stayed here, and would definitely recommend it to everybody. It's the cheapest place I know, near to Aachen Schanz Bahnhof and the owner is a really nice guy. Plus, they have a cute dog, that always meets guests.
