I'm hoping someone can help me. I bought a car from a woman about a month to a month and a half ago. I had a mechanic look it over from top to bottom, inside and out. He also drove it to listen for anything out of the ordinary. The woman told me there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. There were no lights on when I purchased the car. Then this past Sunday, my service engine light came on. I took it to Nissan and they said my valve body in my transmission needs replacing and it's going to be $2000. I asked them if that was something that just happens or if it starts and just keeps getting worse and they told me the previous owner (the woman I got it from was the only owner) had taken it somewhere before because it was throwing the same code it is now. I sent her a message asking if she knew anything about it and she's claiming she never had any problems but when they're pulling my car up, it's showing in the system that it has. Is there anything I can do to get my money back on the car or am
I stuck with it?
