  anyone have a vet in the neighborhood to recommend? ideally, one who is great with kittens and cats. the closer the better... It's hard enough to find the time and get the kitty into a carrier; if the vet was close by and had a wide selection of hours for appts, that would be the best.

  We've been happy customers of Fremont Vet Clinic for over 10 years. Majority of that time we've taken our cat Mookie to Dr. Reis. She is a cat owner and parent herself, which I think gives her a good rapport and understanding. I've also brought my daughter in the exam room for check-ups as learning experience and Dr. Reis explained things well to her and made her feel welcome.
