  Uh, well, maybe REI is not the best place to shop. Try starting here: http://www.ula-equipment.com/ Part of the "ultralight revolution" is in disdaining the "latest and greatest" paradigm. Get yourself a copy of "Beyond Backpacking" (or, I think Ray's newest book has a different title), and bring LESS stuff. Your back will thank you. Tom
