  Laurie W. wrote: I gave her one star because I have to. She doesn't deserve even one star. I was referred to Ms. Pickens by a friend. My sister and my husband died 10 months apart. I needed help. She send my sister's taxes in, and they were incorrect and I had to send more money. Okay. Then my taxes for the year my husband died. Then I gave her my tax papers for the following year. Then Covid happened, and things sat. I finally emailed her a reminder six months later. She said she moved all of her records to her home to work, and was moving them all back to her office. I didn't hear for a couple of weeks, and I finally got an email that she lost my papers,, and Oh, also, your previous years' taxes were rejected because she didn't include a death certificate for my husband. If you're looking for a dependable accountant, move along. This isn't it.
