  I bought a great heavy-duty CST tripod from mytoolstore.com. It was on sale when I bought it and was much less than other retailers. I totally recommend the CST heavy-duty all-wood model and am convinced that it was the best accessory purchase I've made! Of course, You'll have to make, or buy, an adapter to fit your mount. I am using a CG-5 mount and bought an adapter from...hmm..I forgot the site, but just do an internet search for "surveyor tripod adapters." Good luck

  

  Luis, I just checked with mytoolstore.com... The heavy-duty CST tripod is $123, which is a great price! You can also request black hardware if you're not a fan of the orange clamps, etc.
