  Robin, USHGA insurance is only liability, but they do offer a small (50K) life policy. I've posted this before, but for the best deals in aviation insurance, contact the Pilot Insurance Center in Dallas. They are a brokerage and will search for the best policy to fit your needs and are quite affordable, much more so than calling up your local State Farm rep.
