  I'd like to recommend my stylist, Paula Surber. My mom has fine hair, and Paula has done a lovely job with it. (I have thick wavy hair and she does that well too -- she's a real artist when it comes to color) She's at Salon Soule in Campbell (not too far from west San Jose -- take Campbell Ave from Westgate Mall and turn right on Winchester, ~2 blks down). 2265 Winchester Blvd. (408) 866-7520 It's right next to Dairy Queen and maybe a print shop or something, but it has a pretty courtyard inside the grounds, away from the street, and the inside of the salon is pretty too. good luck
