  We stayed in the Bienville House Hotel a few years ago and loved it. It's on the edge of the French Quarter and not too far from the river, so it's well located if you want to wander around the other parts of the city. It's an old-fashioned hotel with beautiful furniture in the rooms and lovely public areas. Our room overlooked the courtyard. I believe it's run by the same people who run the Monteleone.
