This will be my first trip - I have a van two helpers and a lot of stuff, - any/all advice greatly appreciated. I have seen what is on the needed list and will only bring what is needed but would love some advice on where it is best to deliver too? Thanks in advance

  Hi all, The items you can donate that would be most useful are the following; * Tents, tarps and sleeping bags * Clothes, warm jackets, and waterproofs - particularly as winter is approaching. * Bikes, bike trailers and bike repair stuff – are always needed and really useful for people to stay mobile and get around; * Pots, pans, utensils, plates, cups, cutlery – for people in the jungle; * First Aid supplies – difficult to have access; * Books, dictionaries, texts, zines etc – in any and all languages. Especially, English, French, Italian, Arabic, Pashto, Farsi, Tigrinya, Amharic and Greek; * Games & music making – card games, board games, footballs, basketballs, and any instruments etc; * Tools – for fixing stuff; * Phones, phone chargers and sim cards; * Cameras – we are always in need of good cameras as they are often damaged / destroyed by the police Many thanks xx

  Ok. Looking at the Calaid website, they definitely need more men's stuff than women's as men outnumber women 10:1. They specifically say they don't need baby stuff. Just to give people an idea of what might be useful. They are really badly in need of mens walking boots or similar but take a look yourself to see what's really going to help these people: http://www.calaid.co.uk

  Hello. I have (rough estimate) 25 tents and 150 sleeping bags. Almost a Luton box van full. They are being stored in a garage just outside andover, Hampshire. Is there anybody who can collect them and deliver to calais? Some or all of them. Or any ideas? I can transport them in late September, but if anybody can move them sooner, then great. Pm me, and please share this with anybody who lives near andover or is passing through to calais and has space. Or... Is there a large distribution center. This side of the channel?
