  I've been using Pet Spa (972-317-6887) on 407 in Lewisville for a long time now...my schnauzer, Zoe, is 12. I've always been happy! Of course, the cost will depend upon the size and coat condition of the dog...i.e. brushing out mats, etc..

  I used to go to pet spa but the guy got mad when I wanted a diff, cut for winter and one for summer! I thought he was a little weird and his price kept getting higher. but he did a good job

  The price will depend on the size of the dog and what is services are being performed. I paid $25 for a mini poodle way back in the 80's. Now I pay $50 for a 22 lb. schnauzer. Both breeds need the whole coat clipped, bath, nails, glands. Randy is not at Pet Spa anymore...there is a young gentleman there now. Many times I can get my dog in the next day and even the same day...but they do get busy at the holidays.

  Ours has been awhile. He owned Pet Spa as far as I know so unless he sold out he still has a hand in it. There are two shops as well....one in Flower Mound by Salernos

  I understood the lady who owns the shop by Salernos also owns Pet Spa or her and Randy own them together. I just never inquired that deeply. Randy just has been absent for awhile and I was told medical issues. Oh well...just hope it's not serious!

  Recommendations for a grooming place for my dog? We have tried Love Your Pet but will probably try something new. My dog is a lab mix and absolutely hates going to the groomers and I know he can be a handful while he is there. Any places that would work well with him?

  I've been very happy with Pet Spa (972-317-6887) on 407 (SW corner of 407 & McGee). I have a small schnauzer and she does need a grooming every few months...costs about $52 for the full works.
