  Can anyone please recommend a good neurologist? The one i went to in Troy did a rush job, was a jerk and did not even look at my MRI, it was a big waste if time. I still have unanswered questions about the MRI that he never even looked at. Any referrals would be greatly appreciated.

  Dr. Kovar, he's wonderful. I saw multiple neurologists in Detroit before I finally found Dr. Kovar here. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable, he has a wonderful bedside manner. He actually listens to you and discusses your concerns. His staff is great too, very nice ladies. I'd highly recommend him. (810) 982-0100.

  Anyone in the group battling multiple sclerosis? My husband was just diagnosis with it but not treated. Tuesday he was taken by ambulance down to St John on moross, which we thought was an acute exacerbation of MS, after new MRIs to compare to the recent ones and reviewing all his testing the neurology team there is not 100% convinced he has MS but thinks he has a severe type of intractable migraine, but MS is still a working diagnosis as it is not entirely ruled out. Looking for a multiple sclerosis specialist out of this area, as we are not happy with the current neurologist that we were referred to. He has an appt with a dr at the DMC but that's not till November and we need something sooner. I'm so ready to get off this emotional roller coaster we have been on

  I have MS, I was diagnosed in 2008 but have had it since at least 2005. I went to Detroit (first Wayne State then Henry Ford) for years until I found Dr. Kovar here in town. He is excellent and extremely knowledgeable. He also has wonderful bedside manner, he never makes you feel rushed and always really listens to what you have to say. I would highly recommend him.
