  Update: I wanted to give credit to HERITAGE URGENT CARE/Beth Norton who expedited my MRI and referred me on to see a spine specialist who diagnosed me with a herniated disc "significant in size that would put anyone on their butt"...this was almost a week ago when I tried to get help initially. PLEASE HELP!!! Can anyone recommend a physician for shoulder/back pain..possible pinched nerve? Today I went to the only ortho urgent care in this area and the Dr. talked down to me explaining what the difference between a shoulder and a shoulder blade is. I was told this is arthritis but my entire arm and hand are asleep. We have been to this facility before and never been treated this way! It was a complete waste of my time and I'm in a lot of pain.   Sorry to hear of your pain/trouble. I have titanium plates in my neck and lower back, so I completely understand what you are going through! My doctor is with Carolina Back Institute Dr. Mark Reznik 919-847-8200. Best of luck; if you see him let me know how it goes.
