Looking for a plumber for a little advice and work. Have a water supply line to a toilet. The shut off valve is leaking. Don't think it is packing, so I plan to replace the valve tomorrow. Here is my conundrum. Changing a valve is easy, assuming the valve comes off easily. If it doesn't, or I am unable to thread a new one on, I will need to probably cut out a section of water line and replace it. I'm not really equipped to do that on my own, tool or supply wise.
So, aside from advice, any plumber out there interested in taking a look and giving me a hand tomorrow? If it works out, once the weather turns, I will have some additional piping work for you.
Thanks.
