Doggy advice needed - every year at this time, my older dog gets allergies, and constantly licks her paws. Vet prescribed allergy meds only gave her diarrhea, so we give her benadryll twice a day, which gave her a bit of relief. But this year, it doesn't seem to be doing much. She is licking her paws so much that the hair is getting stuck in her throat, causing her to cough and choke. Before I resort to a vet visit, does anyone have any ideas?
