  Our 100-year old grandmother is coming to stay with us for 2-3 weeks from Sunday so we can spend time with her and give other family members a break. Before we go to an agency, we wanted to see if there were any trained and experienced local carers who might be interested in a temporary job. We want someone who understands what a proud older person needs in terms of support. In practice, it would be help washing and dressing and personal hygiene and heating some lunch - so popping in 2-3 times a day (30 mins in the morning and 15-30 mins at lunchtime and evening) with some flexibility on timings. Grateful for any leads (and for tips on good agencies working in the local area).
