Looking for a reputable dog trainer in the area. I have 3 dogs that bark constantly....when we leave the house, come in the house, when the door bell rings, when people walk by, etc. Suggestions are definitely appreciated!
I'm local in Medford and do personal one on one in-home training from puppies to seniors. No aversive methods are EVER used. My website is: www.waggintrain-nj.com and my facebook page is: https://www.facebook.com/waggintraindogtraining/?timeline_context_item_type=intro_card_work&timeline_context_item_source=1394356925&pnref=lhc
I am a local trainer. I come to your home for private, customized lessons. No choke, prong or shock collars ever used because learning shouldn't hurt! www.waggintrain-nj.com
Hi All. I am joining Rescue Dogs Rock and becoming a foster.... however I have 2 dogs of my own which are awesome!!! My concern is that my little dog Echo(40lbs), is HORRIBLE on a leash!!! I have tried every collar out there and have had no luck. Is there anyone that can help me with this? I want to be able to take walks when I have a foster but I can't with Echo pulling so much. Advice and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

I don't know what kind of dog you have or if it's short or long haired, but keep an eye on his arm pit area if you use the harness lead. I have seen many dogs with irritated undersides from these types of harnesses. I also recommend the Easy Walk Harness as mentioned above. They work miracles. NEVER use a choke chain - they encourage pulling due to the opposition reflex in dogs and as a positive reinforcement trainer, I also NEVER recommend the prong collar. Learning shouldn't hurt. But of course, training will give the best results. :) www.waggintrain-nj.com.
Ok, I have been a delinquent pet owner and my female shep is woefully lacking in social and basic skills. I need an intensive dog trainer. She isn't aggressive, though she barks like a mad woman when strangers come to the house. She's more likely to pee on your feet than bite you. Any recommendations? She may need intensive inpatient therapy

Intense is a very harsh word. I'm sure she will respond to positive, force free training. I'd be happy to help. www.waggintrain-nj.com
