  anyone who has driven past the golf course recently: have you noticed the white ribbons tied around 90% of the trees lining the road? I'm assuming these are markers for which ones are to be cut down, and if so, that's way more than "a couple of trees" like the paper said. Personally I'm not in favor of this fence, especially now since so many trees will be cut! I just wanted to know if anyone can confirm that's why they are there.
