Haven't talked to any HVAC service people yet, but based on further research last night, our symptoms exactly fit,so I'm pretty sure that's the issue. Replacement will be super easy....just not sure where to buy a new one since Home Depot doesn't seem to carry such things. Since I want to do the work myself, I presume a repair person wouldn't be right to call....need an actually 'store' to buy the part.
