I have just acquired 2 rescues who have some navicular issues. I had them at Payton Martin and they said surgery was not needed, but they DO need a ferrier who is very experienced with horses with navicular problems - they will need corrective shoes and one will need pads, etc.
So ... I am looking for some suggestions on not just a good ferrier, but one who has dealt with this before. I have called Ian Richie twice, but either he is not getting my messages or he is too busy to reply. Any suggestions you might have would be greatly appreciated.
