  About 10 years ago I needed a new windshield and I shopped all over Lake & Mendocino Counties and found the least expensive by far was a place on Old Redwood Highway in Windsor, Low Price Auto Glass. They might still be there. Even with the cost of gas it was way, way less than any other shop. No appointment necessary, very fast, nice clean comfortable waiting area, and they did a good job. 707-838-1900. They had a shop on Piner Rd. in Santa Rosa too.
